Haskins in West End Southampton is always welcoming,i find the staff are always friendly and always willing to help whatever the problem. They have such a wide arrange of seeds, which i buy throughout the year as i have an allotment
There is always pently to see,and when you get to the point where a drink and a sit down is needed, there is a very clean and well stocked cafe, the prices are a little high for the cooked food, but on saying that i never need to leave anything on my plate.

Very disappointing. Thought pub was on side-street but had main road running past so was noisy, even throughout the night. Room was smokey (should improve with ban); the kitchen sounded like it was underneath our room so we heard dishes being clanked until closing time; continental breakfast was in the fridge in the room - same croissants for both nights' stay, no orange juice on first morning & it meant eating with toddler in bedroom. Not ideal. Second night was pub quiz & none of us slept til well after 11pm. Not at all relaxing for a family. Stayed in different pub B&B following week & entirely better.
